Been spinnin' for about 9 months now. I was inspired to try and learn the skill after discovering Dubstep and attending numerous shows. It promotes such a simplistic, bonding, high-energy reaction in anyone who enjoys it. People always need an outlet for their primal instincts to romp around as hard as they can in a big place with pretty lights and giant speakers with other people who are looking for the same. I can't imagine anything more awesome than being the one who provides that atmosphere for them. I'm yet to play any shows, but hopefully with some more practice and a bit of online exposure, I'll get there some day. For now though, I'm cool with jumpin' around in my basement and making my friends think I'm as good as Skrillex with a simple twist of the bass knob.
