As one of the premier DJ’s in Pittsburgh both on the club circuit, as well as in the mixtape game, and as a member of two of its best established House/Hip Hop/ Rock/ Pop groups DJ B Tips is a force to be reckoned with!
With humble beginnings at the University of Pittsburgh and an ever expanding fan base, his talent was quickly recognized and he was invited to hold a residency at S Bar in the Southside.
Now having played at nearly every major club in Pittsburgh (Barroom, Diesel, Calico Jack’s, Matrix, S Bar, Elixir, Z Lounge) And worked with some of the top artists in the industry (the Hood Internet, Kid Cudi, Raekwon, Bone thugs and Harmony, DJ Tina T, Cage, Paul Wall). B Tips has become a fixture in the local music scene, and has additionally released five mixtapes with city-wide and national distribution.
Never slowing down he has expanded his repertoire to include membership in three well established local groups, the Tranquilizerz, a collaboration with a young producer/protege Danny Longarms, Basick Sickness, and the Beats N’ Verbs. Including performances with these three, nearly every major venue in Pittsburgh has been conquered including the Rex theatre, Mr. Smalls, and the Shadow Lounge.
