Every year im doing one huge event and this is it, Pittsburghs first annual HoW StRanGe? art & electronic music celebration. Everybody dress as strange as possible and come check out the best underground cause its too fresh art & music. The decor is going to be rediculous, transforming the irish centre like never before, the one surprise ill share now is light painting by Edward Hsu(san francisco), i think its the hottest new thing for visual club design this is the first event on the east coast to see this. There will also be artists doing free body painting, and any artist or vendor that does anything interesting please pm me.
$20 pre-sales available soon. Flyers & posters out everywhere! As always Free beer in 21+ area, free redbull ,free vegetarian food for all ages. All live performers will do a special jam all together one time only after they all do their solo sets.
KJ SAWKA (Seattle, washington)(amazing live pa) PERFORMING WITH BELLYDANCERS This will be the hottest live drum and bass act to ever play pittsburgh. He is blowing up touring everywhere, recording with amazing artists like BT, Blake Lewis...., He has been called the one man who can beat the drum machine. Performing behind his drum kit, with all different types of machines, this cannot be missed.

PAUL ANTHONY(Chicago)Who i feel may be one of the best dj's on the planet, i saw the mother fucker scratch with his feet lol will be replacing Udachi who had to cancel due to his best friends just deciding to get married on that date, unfortunately the flyers had already been printed and passed out. I don't think anyone can possibly be upset, Paul is the best electro house dj/producer in the country.
EDWARD HSU (San Francisco)(light painting) This is the hottest thing you'll ever see, we'll be designing backdrops and arranging models, setting up projectors for him to paint with light from his laptop, the is the newest in new, underground cause its too fresh!
THE GENIE (san francisco) He is an avant-garde musician & innovator from san francisco known for his scratch guitar showcases . A unigue performance involving unconventional guitar playing, live looping , beatboxing and a variety of original techniques.(myspace.com/thegenie), He is in the top 3 in the world of people doing this style of live performance, he was influenced by and grew up along qbert, mix master mike, shortcut, dj quest using scratch/mixing techniques in his own way.
RYURY (San Francisco) (dnb, jungle, dub step)(konkrete jungle,bassbot,1337) Ryan is submersed, living in the mecca where all the hottest latest dubstep, hip hop, &drum and bass tracks are coming from. Djing around sf, going to all the shows, hanging out with dj's and producers keeps his selection always fresh.
TIKA / RUKKUS / JOLTZ (HARDCORE) This will blow your fucking mind hardcore fans, all 3 of pitts best hardcore acts together, Tika spinning/Rukkus mcing/Joltz scratching, this will be the hottest hardcore act ever, i'm so excited, this will be the only time you'll ever see the 3 of them together.
STEEL CITY FUNK - 7UP & ELLYSIUM i just don't even feel like its a real party unless 7up is on it, common, brad is just as powerful, don't underestimate the combined forces, together pitts number 1 bff dj's, if they didn't love pittsburgh so much, we wouldn't even be able to afford to bring them in.

Guys leave me alone when I'm napping this time. No, I don't wanna wake up and party. No I'm not so fucked out of my goard that I fell asleep. Yes, I'm ok. Waking somebody up to ask if they're ok automatically makes them not ok. Yes, I really AM taking a nap at a party. I'm a grown ass woman, I pay my bills, and old, grown-ass women need their beauty rest.

oh the irish centre tall? i have nothing against that venue but i think you outgrew it last time. if this is to be bigger and better you may have to be turning people away at the door, and noone wants that. i better get there early

i know, i can't get the venue i wanted till oct. There is like twice the party, actually theres 3 events here i put into one. I was in san fran and wasn't able to find an alternative and i wanted the flyer done, for two months of solid promotion, its gonna be packed but its fun that way. Everybody still loves the irish centre so fuck it, i wish he would put an addiction on that place, i would if i owned it.

haha, we where rushed im surprised theres only 2 mistakes, if u would have seen how much time i gave sara to do this, she finished it at like midnight after a concert, im surprised anything is spelled right. She is absolutly the best!

right, he sets up for fun on haight street, i was walking down the street like what, i record all the street musicians, i recorded some demos of him, me and him are going to work on a live act when i get back to sf. I went to his b day party it was packed, he played a great fun show for friends.

That place is closed down....the building is for lease. I bet if someone could do some smooth talking and had enough $$ they could do a show in that spot.

that is an awesome venue, it is the dream i def agree, but its closed down now, and some people hate the drive out there. There is a 2 level downtown venue that will be opening up in oct., they said sept when i started this party, then while i was on the other side of the country they cancelled, then metropolis was my 2nd choice, metropolis can't confirm until sept if knowone hasnt bought it, plus the metropois owner wants so much money, like 3 times what it is worth. So because i wasn't here i had to go with the irish centre so we could finish the flyer. Everyone likes it there and well its gonna be a fun challenge to make it look like a different place.
